What do we want?

What do we do?

We want the youth to not be afraid of different opinions, but to empower them to speak about it. To discuss and mixxx our thoughts. To unite and inspire the next generation, creating more empathy and understanding for each other without turning against one another. To come from a position of misunderstanding to a place of unity. Not to shy away from the conversation because it is a “polarising” topic but to face it head on. To not be afraid of others for their viewpoints but to learn where the person is coming from, with respect and empathy. 


Polarisation has been made out to be this scary thing. Something we should ‘solve’ in order to have a good society. We think differently. We are not afraid to have differing opinions. We welcome them because we believe it is fundamental to our democracy. What we are afraid of is a world where we are not allowed to think differently. One where we must all think the same, or else/ ‘get lost!’/ ‘go back to where you came from’. One where we do not talk to each other if we expect to disagree. One where we hate each other if we are not alike.

Simply put: we organize events… but not just any events!


Come join us to hear new ideas, to challenge each other, to talk about the hard stuff. But also to have fun! Come dance with us. Come watch theatre, experience art, listen to poetry (or other examples to make it clear what an evening will look like)


We bring together young Amsterdammers on evenings filled with friction and fun. 

Maybe you don’t agree with everyone? There’s space for that! But there is no space for hate. No space for dehumanization. 


So many of us are living parallel lives. Sharing the same city but never meeting, never speaking. We want to change that. Time to get to know each other. Exchange ideas and challenge them. 

All while having fun, because nobody wants a boring evening.
